How important sleep is and how much we miss it, we usually only notice when this is not sufficiently present or is reduced by sleep-onset and sleep-through disorders.
Sleep is a natural basic need and a prerequisite for health and well-being. However, this is not a given and unshakable, but depends on many factors.
