Conference on Mechanism and Institution Design 2020 (CMID20)

Our 2020 conference took place in a free, open-access online environment on Thursday-Saturday, 11th-13th June 2020, hosted at the Department of Economics, Alpen-Adria-University of Klagenfurt/Celovec, Austria.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was impossible to carry out this conference as originally planned. Hence, we organized an open, "virtual" conference instead of a physical meeting and thereby hope to benefit the community.

The confirmed keynote speakers have been:

• Pierpaolo Battigalli, Bocconi University
• Johannes Hörner, Yale University
• Benny Moldovanu, University of Bonn

We thank all committee members, participants and the three keynote speakers for their contributions to the conference and presentations!  Our particular gratitude extends to the local support team consisting of Anabell Schlögelhofer, Daniel Rehsmann, Gerald Hochegger, Martin Schrott, and Stefan Bürger who did an absolutely awesome (public holiday) job.
